Tom Pazderka is a Czech-born artist who emigrated to the United States during early childhood. His work is primarily focused on the abstracted landscape, using many media. Tom is currently working on a series of paintings and prints entitled Ten Thousand Years, which deal with our forgotten history, alchemical and hermetic thought and man's relationship to Earth. It is a series which seeks to reconcile the new with the old by pointing to the past as the source of all our knowledge. This latest is the culmination of Tom's previous and ongoing work which relies on texture and spatial relationships.
This painting is a piece in the series which deals with the ancient technology anomalous archeological finds and data and humanity's destructive relationship to the planet.
