Hoss is a studio artist living and working in Asheville, North Carolina. Primarily a sculptor, he has recently been delving into public art, including working with the Charlotte Area Transit System and Asheville’s Pack Square Conservancy. His most recent solo exhibition was a collection of sculpture, and paintings on steel, at Blue Spiral 1 Gallery in Asheville. Hoss Haley’s work has also been shown at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Mint Museum of Craft & Design in North Carolina, New Mexico Museum of Fine Arts, and the John Elder Gallery in New York. He has been a resident artist at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, and at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Wisconsin.
