Joseph is married, father of two and lives in Asheville, NC. He was born in San Diego, CA, 1977. Over the years he has lived all over the country and experienced many ways of life. Art has been there throughout. He is always creating something; with whatever he can get his hands on, anything from music to welding to finger painting. Joseph is self taught, having never really accepted any formal training, feeling always that it stifled his creativity and his ability to express himself. He is obsessed with creating art entirely from his own vision and resources. The last eight years, Joseph has focused on painting as his primary creative process. He's been a part of several group shows, studio strolls and festivals here in Asheville. You might find his work hanging in Pack Place Gallery, or in a local record shop. His paintings have a diverse following of collectors and admirers.
