A New Jersey native, Michael B attended the School of Radio, Television and Motion Pictures at UNC. After living in Alexandria, St. Petersburg and Los Angeles, he made Asheville home in 2001. His work with VERSIONb also includes visual merchandising, window displays and retail design consulting.
“The subject matter in my photos typically intrigues, fascinates or vexes me in some way. My favorite subjects are people. My favorite settings are urban. My most common media is black and white 35 mm film. My motivation is simple: beauty in all forms.”
