what we are and what we have accomplished. Of course I’m not the most objective observer. I’ve served as executive director for the last fifteen years, and before that

A bright green future

Progress Energy and the Community Energy Advisory Council recently granted Mountain Housing Opportunities (MHO) $4,100 to purchase compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs for Crowell Park, MHO’s newest affordable rental property.

14th Annual MHO Ramp Festival
May 5th, 2008
This weekend, volunteers will gather to build eight wheelchair ramps for Buncombe County homeowners who are elderly or disabled and have low or limited income.
